Why we have created the Focus On Your Business Marketing Masterplan

Focus On Your Business

Over the years I have probably attended more than fifty training sessions where, although I was interested in the subject, and the trainer was excellent, I have fallen into the trap of taking too many notes and not having the time to practise what I had just learnt.

Very often, after a day or two of full-on learning, the last thing I want to do is go over the notes and try and recall what each bit of my notes actually means - and usually the notes become more illegible as they get closer to the end, which means I get to a point where I really have no idea what I was making notes about. Phew!

Not sure if that all makes sense to you, but if it does and you know what I'm trying to say, it's probably because you do the same thing. If it doesn't make sense, you are probably one of those rare folks who make pristine notes and never fail to put into practise what you've learnt; and if that's who you are, my hat is off to you.

If, however, you are like me, then you will understand why we, that's me and some fellow business acquaintances, have created the Focus On Your Business Marketing Masterplan.

We decided, it would be really good to run some informative training sessions on the different species of marketing but in a way that's slightly different to the norm.  We want to spend just an hour and a half in the 'teaching' or 'showing' part of the training, and two and a half hours in the practical application of the training.

What does that mean?

It means, we will only talk or demonstrate the subject for the first part and then we'll help you play and practice what you've learnt, so that you gain a full understanding of the subject and are confident of using it in a practical and useful manner within your business.

Every session will be delivered by an expert on the subject and as I am a business consultant that delivers these subjects on a daily basis with my own clients, I will be the back-up or 'extra' expert in the room. This means that everyone in the class will receive plenty of 121 attention and assistance.

We hope you can join us. The training starts on January 10th and you can find out all about it on our website: www.focusonyourbusiness.net
